Title: Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Assistant
Pay: $18.11 - $19.96 depending Education and Experience
Location: Main Office
Position Details: 20-40 hrs/wk (depending on the ideal candidate); non-exempt; 52 weeks per program year

• Ensure timely payment of all accounts payable.
• Ensure purchase orders and receipts are collected and verified.
• Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures and Check for sign off on packing slips or other proof of receipts received and matches the corresponding purchase order.
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Accurately file all bids and quotes and contract documents including compliance with Davis Bacon Act will be maintained as appropriate.
• Provide all information requested on a timely basis for the program audit. Participate in the CEEN Head Start audit as requested. Prepares materials for audit throughout the program year.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Minimum Requirements:
• AA Degree in Accounting or a closely related field
• 2 Years of Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable or similar job experience
