CEEN Head Start and Early Head Start are hiring for an Instructional Coach for the 2019-2020 program year. This position works to form Collaborative Coaching Partnerships with teaching staff to promote effective teaching practices through action planning, focused observation, and reflection & feedback. 40 hrs/wk, 42-52 weeks per year; non-exempt. Pay $17 - $18.98 /hr. depending on experience and credentials.

• BA degree in ECE or related field; minimum of 15 ECE credits required.
• 2,080 hours of verified teaching experience with required infants and toddlers or preschool aged students
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Head Start Program or the equivalent knowledge and understanding of the Head Start Program Performance Standards and services.

• Provides effective training and support for new teaching staff in classroom management, curriculum implementation, and appropriate early childhood teaching practices.
• Provides guidance to teaching staff to set the standards of the classroom, works with staff member in setting goals, monitors progress toward goals, and provides regular feedback in a timely manner.
• Supports “best practices” in early education programming and implementation at the center to ensure that the theories and principles of child growth and development are being implemented at the highest level of quality.
• Works as a team member with the other administration staff to foster an effective system that is meaningful and meets the individual and program needs.
