CEEN Head Start is hiring a Substitute Teacher for the 2019-2020 Program Year. These positions will work with typically developing children, children with disabilities, bilingual children, and families living in poverty. 42-44 weeks per program year; location varies based on needs. Pay $17.60 to $18.70/hour. Depending on credentials.



      7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday - Friday

      Up to 40 hours per week guaranteed (hours based on employee need)

Minimum Requirements:


      AA or BA degree in ECE or related field with 15 ECE credits.

      910 clock hours of verified early childhood teaching experience





      Works with a team to promote the growth and development of preschool students

      Take responsibility for the children when the Teacher is not present

      Supports existing teaching teams when not substituting in a lead role

      Flexible scheduling available (30- 40 hours/ week depending on candidate need)

      Ability to grow into permanent, benefited position if desired
